How to request deletion

You can delete your entire Speaklio account directly in the app: open Settings and tap "Delete account." This is immediate and permanent — see our Account Deletion page for details.

To delete only specific information instead — such as particular recordings — or if you’re unable to use the app, email support@scriptiastories.com from the email address associated with your Speaklio account, with the subject line "Speaklio data deletion request", and tell us what you want removed. Sending from your account email lets us verify the request.

What is deleted

Raw audio is never retained in the first place (see our Privacy Policy) — a deletion request removes your profile, transcripts, practice sessions, scores, coaching conversations, progress history, and preferences from active use. If you ask for your full account to be deleted, everything linked to it is removed and cannot be recovered.

Full or partial deletion

You can delete individual practice sessions within the app where that option is offered. You can also email us to delete only specific information, or to remove everything by deleting your entire account and its associated data. What may be retained

After deletion we may retain limited information where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, or basic subscription records required by the app store, consistent with the retention practices in our Privacy Policy. Any such data is kept only for as long as the applicable legal retention period requires — typically no more than 90 days after your request, unless a specific legal obligation requires longer — and is not used for any other purpose.

Response process

We aim to process deletion requests within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days of receiving a verified request.

In-app deletion

Full-account deletion is available directly within the app today — see Settings, or our Account Deletion page for details. Email is only needed for the cases described above (partial deletion, or if you can’t access the app).
